Grupo Los Grobo was the first company to have the first Wi-Max connection in Argentina, and held the second digital forum with Internet Wi-Fi in the country. Futhermore, the company created its own software program called GroboSoft, to allow members of Grupo Los Grobo’s network to input critical growing data on the spot, access crop optimization recommendations, and share exclusive reports.

GroboSoft takes advantage of GPS technology to measure soil characteristics within a five-hectare grid. Based on this data, the precise density of inputs (seeds, fertilizers, and other chemicals) is calculated to boost productivity. A report can be printed out on the spot, using smart phones that have direct access to the GroboSoft system.

We have introduced GIS systems and lead sector oriented agriculture by applying GPS technology to soil analysis.
